Role and Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with Project Engineers and Managers to prepare construction documents.

  • Develop fall protection plans, elevations, sections, details, and fabrication shop drawings from schematics through the as-built phase.

  • Manage time effectively working on multiple projects, often under pressure, and meet project deadlines while maintaining a high-quality product.

Hiring Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD. BIM modeling experience a plus.

  • Familiarity with structural engineering plans and detailing.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

  • Ability to develop layout plans from sketches and/or existing drawings.

  • Strong understanding of math, geometry and engineering graphics.

  • Confident and articulate in written and verbal communications.

  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking. Willingness to learn.

  • Be effective at building collaborative relationships, functioning as part of a team as well as working independently.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly compensation between $20 – $40 depending on experience.

  • Medical / Dental / Vision insurance plan. We pay 90% of the monthly premium for employees.

  • 401(k) program with employer match.

  • Paid Vacation – Employees accrue 80 hours of vacation time per year.

  • 7 Paid Holidays – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

  • Paid sick time in accordance with Washington State Law.
