A Gravitec Fall Hazard Survey Report provides an in-depth fall protection hazard anlysis and identifies fall protection needs, and rescue planning at any of our clients' locations. We provide our clients with a written report that identifies unprotected fall hazards, ranks them within a risk index, and specifies equipment that will minimize each hazard and comply with legal requirements for fall protection. Rescue options are also specified.
Gravitec has worldwide experience in this field and is involved in several American, Canadian and international fall protection standards organizations (American National Standards Institute, Canadian Standards Association, and the International Standards Organization). This expertise allows us to recommend solutions incorporating the latest available technologies and keep clients prepared for upcoming changes in fall protection legislation.
The Survey requires a site visit (normally one day) to collect information using observation techniques, employee interviews, digital photography, and voice/video recording when applicable. The final report includes prioritized ranking of the hazards and options to abate them. Recommendations are proposed based on legislative requirements, industry standards, and Gravitec's extensive experience.
Site visits begin with an informal session, lasting approximately one hour, to review fall protection fundamentals. This session may be attended by anyone interested, but is intended mainly for those participating in the survey. Attendance is limited only by the capacity of the room provided by the client. The session provides an introduction to the issues and concepts that will be addressed by the survey so participants are better equipped to anticipate questions and concerns raised by Gravitec.
A client representative is required to accompany and guide the Gravitec surveyor for the duration of the site visit.
