To be reliable, fall protection and rescue equipment must be regularly serviced, especially fall arresters. Some equipment may be exposed to harsh or damaging environments. Other items may be unused for extended periods. Gravitec's independent inspection services help our clients keep their equipment in good working order.

Equipment may be sent to Gravitec for detailed, documented inspections performed according to manufacturer instructions. Written findings are forwarded to our clients for proof of inspection. For larger inspections, Gravitec sends the inspector(s) to the site. They can inspect and record approximately 15 to 20 soft good items (lanyards, harnesses, anchor straps, etc.) an hour.

Besides keeping fall protection equipment in good order, Gravitec's inspections also enable our clients to track equipment purchases and perform cost analyses. Because the inspections offer a history of each piece, employers can gauge value versus cost for that type of gear.
