Kingspan's Safetraxx System is a complete fall protection system for off ridge applications comprising 2-meter-long, powder-coated, extruded aluminum track sections utilizing a precision sliding joint. This system operates using the standard traveling eyebolt and endstop components. It is available in a standard Goosewing Grey finish. Special colors are available by request. The system is fastened from the top down and therefore eliminates the need to enter the premises or to erect internal scaffolding. There is no penetration of the insulation within the roof construction, resulting in no cold bridging, as the fasteners connect to the top skin only. The system comes complete with all components required for installation, including fasteners. The fastening arrangement utilizes a washered rivet. This system is a highly cost-effective solution with an unobtrusive appearance. It offers lightweight aluminium sections and all ex-stock components. It complies with BSEN795 and is an elegant solution which has minimum impact on the aesthetics of architects' designs. When correctly specified and installed, this system is compliant with the relevant Class D requirements of Regulation BSEN 795, 1996 - 'Protection Against Falls from a Height'; Anchor Devices - Requirements and Testing. In accordance with best practice and the recommendations contained in EN 795, the installation should be examined and inspected annually to ensure suitability for continued use.
