Gravitec Experts Say: Miller's DuraFlex Construction Harness was a creative idea. Make the webbing flexible to conform to the workers body and the harness will be more comfortable.
Unfortunately, the elastic properties of the webbing make the harness sloppy and add distance to a fall when loaded. Overall, this is a good harness, but buy it because of its other features (tongue & buckle leg loops, wide padded belt, etc.) and not the elastic webbing.
This harness is constructed of a blend of nylon, polyester and a specially formulated elastomer that stretches for a continually conforming fit with no bunching, binding or kinking. This harness increases mobility, decreases fatigue and is more likely to be worn correctly, increasing worker safety. Patterned upper webbing and solid leg straps make orienting and donning the harness easier. The webbing is protected with Teflon HT for a longer performance life. Unlike natural rubber, the elastomer resists wear from the sun, heat and moisture. A self-contained label pack encapsulates labels, minimizing damage and loss. This harness has integrated, oversized pull-free lanyard rings. A soft, flexible D-ring back pad enhances comfort. It is available in a universal size. It meets ANSI and OSHA requirements.
