Gravitec Experts Say: Unlike other cross your heart designs, the dorsal and shoulder straps of the Petzl's NAVAHO BOD CROLL FAST are held in position with the integral pad. This lightweight harness has been used by our instructors used for years. It is best suited for rope access applications. The leg loops can be opened like a fall protection harness, whereas other rope access harnesses are step through. Because this harness is designed mostly for a sitting position, it's very uncomfortable if suspended from the dorsal D-ring.
The NAVAHO BOD CROLL FAST Harness is the top of the line in fall arrest work harnesses. It has an integrated CROLL ventral rope clamp for ascending ropes. There are sternal and dorsal attachment points that can be used to connect a fall arrest system and help ensure that the user is suspended in the correct position after a fall. This harness has one ventral and two lateral attachment points for multiple, hands-free work positioning configurations for precision of use. It can be used in conjunction with the Petzl PODIUM seat for prolonged suspension. The leg loops are equipped with FAST buckles that open and close easily and quickly which means the harness can be donned without having to readjust all the buckles, making it perfect for single-user applications. The waist belt and shoulder straps are equipped with self-locking DoubleBack buckles. The wide, semi-rigid waist belt provides excellent support. The waist belt and suspension seat are lined with breathable, perforated foam for maximum comfort when suspended. Foam shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce neck chafing and are linked to the directional ventral connector for easy donning. If the waist belt is weighted, the load is transferred to the shoulder straps, which distribute it over the shoulders. The ventral attachment point distributes the weight more evenly between the waist belt and the leg loops during suspended work. The two lateral attachment points transfer the weight evenly around the waist belt for comfortable, surface-supported work. This harness includes three equipment loops with protective sheath and slots for Petzl's CARITOOL tool holder. It is available in yellow or black.
