DBI-SALA's EZ Stop Retrax 100% Tie-Off Shock Absorbing Retractable Lanyard is the first shock absorbing lanyard that retracts automatically to fit the working area. It is a unique alternative to elasticized lanyards. Using a retraction technology similar to airport security lines, it retracts and expands smoothly and consistently from 2-1/2' to 6'. The retraction keeps the lanyard taut and close to the body at all times, reducing trip fall hazards, snagging on equipment and dragging. Smooth retraction with no irritating lock-ups enhances ease-of-use and increases productivity. An adjustable retraction length allows the user to limit the retraction at any interval between 2-1/2' and 6' for more flexibility in applications. This lanyard is available with various hooks (shown with self-locking snaphooks at ends). This compact, lightweight device weighs only 2 lbs. and limits arresting forces to 900 lbs. or less. It meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA and ANSI.
