Petzl's ASAP'SORBER is an energy absorber with integrated lanyard for Petzl's ASAP. It is designed to connect the ASAP fall arrest device to a harness. The energy generated from a fall is absorbed by the tearing of specific stitching on this product. It's available in two lengths (20 cm and 40 cm) to get the desired distance from the safety rope and to reach the best compromise between distance from the rope and height of the fall. This product is equipped with Petzl's STRING, which allows the connector to be held in the major axis position (the strongest) and protects the connector attachment loop from wear.
