Petzl's TANDEM SPEED is an efficient double pulley for use on ropes and cables. It's the fastest of the transport pulleys and is specifically designed for ropes course zip lines. Stainless steel sheaves provide excellent durability. They are mounted on sealed ball bearings for sustained speed independent of the weight of the person, temperature or humidity. The maximum allowable speed is 20 m per second. The attachment point accepts up to three carabiners to facilitate use. The TANDEM SPEED is designed for use on cable with a maximum diameter of 12 mm and on rope with a maximum diameter of 13 mm.
