MSA's Suretyman RQ3 Q-Eight is used as a component in rescue applications for descent and positioning. It meets applicable OSHA and ANSI requirements. The ears/cleat are positioned to make tie off easy and safe and still prevent larks footing (girth hitch). This product is designed for 7/16" (11 mm) diameter rope but will work with 1/2" (12 mm) diameter rope. It is made of aluminum and anodized gold and has a strength of 13,000 lbs (58 kN).
