DBI-SALA's Rope Grab automatically follows you, giving you greater feedom of movement and virtually hands-free operation. It can be installed or removed at any point on the lifeline. This rope grab utilizes a cam lever as well as a friction-sensitive brake to lock the rope grab onto the lifeline in case of a fall, even if the operator holds the device open in a panic situation. The revolutionary design is less sensitive to rope variations. It works on worn rope with no nuisance lock-ups. The mobile type automatically follows the worker, providing maximum freedom of movement. It utilizes both inertia and a cam-locking system for added safety, preventing panic grab situations. The energy-absorbing design reduces the forces generated in the event of a fall. You can attach or detach this rope grab anywhere along the lifeline for added versatility. The stainless steel and thermoplastic construction provide corrosion resistance. It fits a 5/8" diameter rope lifeline and may be ordered with DBI-SALA's 3' EZ-STOP II Shock Absorbing Lanyard. This product meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA and ANSI.
