Gravitec's Vertical Lifeline can be used in numerous fall protection scenarios. The rope grab travels up and down the rope as the worker moves, with little or no attention necessary. If a fall occurs, the rope grab bites into the rope causing it to deploy the shock-absorber if necessary, limiting a fall and the arrest forces on the body. The spliced terminations create a clean, strong and safe termination at both ends of the rope, eliminating the need for knots. This vertical lifeline comes with a scaffolding carabiner, an anchor strap, a rope log and it's all neatly packaged in a rope bag and ready for use.
