Bainbridge Island, Wash. - May 14, 2010 - Gravitec Systems, Inc., will join thousands of safety, health and environmental professionals at the American Society of Safety Engineer’s (ASSE) Safety 2010 Professional Development Conference (PDC) and Exposition, held June 13 - 16, 2010, in Baltimore, Md. Over 400 organizations showcasing the latest in safety, health and environmental products will exhibit at Safety 2010, which is expected to draw over 4,000 attendees.
Attendees are invited to visit Gravitec at Booth 1801 where staff will be available to discuss Gravitec’s full spectrum of services including engineering, training, equipment sales and testing. Representatives from Gravitec’s Engineering Department will be available to answer technical questions, and Gravitec’s training and equipment advisors can match workers at height with the appropriate fall protection and rescue training or recommend equipment for any application.
At this year’s conference, Randall Wingfield, founder and president of Gravitec and chairman of the ANSI/ASSE Z359 Accredited Standards Committee, will discuss the evolution of the ANSI/ASSE Z359 Fall Protection Code, one of the most important safety-related voluntary national consensus standards in the last 20 years. During his presentation, Wingfield will identify highlights and the significance of recently released and draft standards, documents that are no longer specific to equipment manufacturers only. He will also discuss the impact these standards will have on workers at height, their employers and other players in the fall protection industry.
