An effective fall protective program involves ensuring your staff are adequately trained to identify and control fall hazards in the workplace. Gravitec offers year-round fall protection training at our facility near Seattle, Wash., and select locations across the U.S.
Whether you’re an end user or a professional engineer, you’ll walk away from our courses with the know-how to effectively deal with fall hazards in your workplace. Curriculum is designed to prepare workers and empower them to use available equipment and implement systems to protect themselves.
Each of our courses combines interactive classroom sessions and applied learning in our world-class indoor training facility in Poulsbo, Washington, or at a location of your choosing. To address site-specific variables, custom courses can be tailored for different systems and applications.
Because Gravitec does not endorse specific products or manufacturer product lines, students are exposed to and have the opportunity to choose from and use a wide selection of fall protection equipment during training. This allows them to identify the best piece of equipment for their particular task and enables them to form their own opinion of each product.
Standards & Accreditation
All of Gravitec's courses meet the Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training, the industry's highest standard for training published by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ANSI/ASSE Z490.1-2009). They also meet or exceed requirements set forth in OSHA Subpart M, OSHA 1910, and OSHA 1926.
Gravitec's courses are accredited by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), allowing us to issue Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Upon completion of most courses, Gravitec issues a wallet certificate with photo identification.
