From basic fall hazard awareness to advanced climbing and rescue techniques, Gravitec has created a complete range of courses to develop Competent Persons who can effectively deal with fall hazards in their workplaces. Our training standards meet or exceed the levels mandated by governments and form a key part of any company’s due diligence toward workplace safety.
Gravitec is uniquely able to offer Qualified Person training to professional engineers so they can design effective and practical fall protection systems. The course is also offered to non-engineers who wish to gain an awareness of the scientific principles or act as Qualified Persons in those aspects of fall protection where professional engineering is not required.
All of Gravitec’s courses meet the highest industry standards for training, the Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training, published by the American Society of Safety Engineers ANSI/ASSE A490.1-2001. They also meet or exceed requirements set forth in OSHA Subpart M, OSHA 1910, and OSHA 1926.
Courses are accredited through the International Association of Continuing Education and Training and we issue Continuing Education Units. Upon completion of most courses, Gravitec issues a credit-card-style wallet certificate and a wall certificate suitable for framing.
