The Gravitec Training Institute (GTI) provides our students with a warm and dry environment for hands-on fall protection and rescue instruction. Students can test their skills on four ANSI-compliant towers, the tallest of which reaches 40 feet. These structures are tall enough to create a risk factor but not so high as to hinder student-instructor communication.
Hands-On Training
The GTI was designed with engineered fall protection anchorages and a variety of ladder safety systems that allow our instructors to create problem-solving scenarios designed to simulate on-the-job responsibilities. We also have an extensive selection of fall protection and rescue equipment for students to use during training exercises. For our clients who have invested in a particular product line or system, we can tailor our training to incorporate these selections.
Dynamic Classroom Sessions
Practical exercises in the GTI are balanced with interactive classroom sessions where comprehensive manuals, interactive lectures, engaging slide presentations and informative videos create a dynamic learning environment for our students. The merits of training in the GTI are undeniable, but we recognize that there are advantages to working in the field where site-specific fall hazards can be addressed.
